ABOUT MEGAN
I've been on my hands since the age of three when I began competitive acrobatic gymnastics. It's upside down that I've found my place in the world and I love sharing this passion with my students. After competing at the elite level for many years, I decided to pursue my love of coaching while studying at UC Davis. It was there I realized two things: I was not done with my own movement journey and that teaching had stolen my heart. I gave up my coaching role to join the circus with my porter, Axel Osborne, where we traveled the world performing hand to hand for the last five years.
Although I love performing, I cannot fully part from teaching. Connecting with students around the world and helping each person on their journey toward their goals is uniquely fulfilling. Between my degree from UC Davis in Exercise Biology and my 11 years of coaching experience with competitive, professional, and recreational students I have come to believe that the journey to a handstand is personal and intimate. It requires, not a cookie cutter set of drills, but a thoughtful analysis of biomechanics and the understanding that each student is a whole person with their own strengths, goals, functions, and abilities. My goal is to support each of my students in their own journey on their terms.

After years of touring with the Adelaide based contemporary circus, Gravity and Other Myths, I have retired from full time performing and moved to Berlin, Germany to pursue further education in Clinical Exercise Science . If you want to know more about me, my journey through full time touring and motherhood, or my thoughts on pet fish, head over to my blog for all my ramblings.
